Valley Forge 50/250 Celebration: Visitor Gateway

This 4th of July weekend, begin your visit to Valley Forge National Historical Park at the visitor center and plan your 50/250 experience!
Talk to a park ranger, pick up your Junior Ranger activity book, celebrate the people's park with the My Valley Forge Story exhibit, and listen to engaging stories from Revolutionary War history provided by Historic Philadelphia Inc.
Walk or take the special event shuttle to Muhlenberg's Brigade to see living history programming and the closing ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of Valley Forge National Historical Park and the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
The park will be extremely busy this day. Please plan accordingly. More event-specific trip-planning materials and transportation information will be available in late Spring 2026.
