Description
There is so much that a lot of us don't know about bats, leading to a lot of misunderstanding about these tiny flying mammals and what we can do to help them.
Did you know bats play a key role in our ecosystem by serving as pollinators and pest controllers. They have an amazing superpower called echolocation and they're super social and usually live in large family colonies.
Join the NPS Park Rangers, DC Bird Alliance, and Delaware Bat Rehabilitation for this special evening walk as a bat expert will teach about the local bats and lead a guided walk around Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens to listen and look for bats.
