South Rim Village: Plein Air Painting - Grand Canyon Celebration of Art
Plein Air Painting - September 7 through 14, 2024 - Grand Canyon Celebration of Art
Participating artists paint on-site at locations of their choice along the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. Park visitors and residents will have the opportunity to watch them paint "en plain air," as they seek to represent the shifting light and shadow, amazing landforms, and extraordinary colors of this vast landscape. Most artists prefer to paint mornings and evenings when the canyon is the most vibrant.
While observing the artists please respect their space.
