Morristown National Historical Park was established as the National Park Service's first national historical park in 1933 and will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2023. This historic milestone presents an opportunity for this park to connect to and find relevance with the rapidly changing local and global communities it serves in the 21st century.
Xiomɑ́ro (See-oh-ma-ro), a nationally recognized New York-based artist, and musician, and the author has been commissioned to create fine art photographs of the park's key features: the Ford Mansion, Jockey Hollow, and the Cross Estate Mansion.
The exhibition and related programming are made possible by a grant from Morris Arts through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
