Description

Working alongside the Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson and the Marquis de Lafayette helped shape the early course of the new nation. Reflecting on their partnership, Jefferson remarked, “In truth I only held the nail, he drove it in.” As the last surviving Major General of the Revolutionary War, Lafayette returned to the United States for a 13-month tour, where he was welcomed as a national hero and honored across all 24 states. Join a ranger to learn about his lasting legacy.
