The 43st season of the Grand Canyon Music Festival presents an in-person performance of Michael Begay’s new work, “Spirit Echoes of Sovereignty”: The Legacy of Sitting Bull and Chief Joseph.
His composition, is a string quartet, reflecting on their wisdom and influence, serving as a musical tribute to their enduring impact and the vital preservation of their powerful stories.
Sage Bond revisits and reinterprets the story of Sacagawea with her composition, "To Know The Land".

Location
Shrine of the Ages Auditorium is located near Market Plaza, half-way between the Visitor Center Plaza, and the Village Historic District. There is parking by the hall, on the west end of Parking Lot A, adjacent to the Park Headquarters building. The auditorium is within walking distance of Market Plaza, Mather Campground, Trailer Village, and Yavapai Lodge. In addition, the free Village (Blue) Route Shuttle (shown as a blue line on park maps) has both a westbound and eastbound stop in front of Shrine of the Ages.
