Description

As the sun sets and the moon rises, hike at your own pace up the 1.6 mile paved trail, climbing 700ft to the top of Hurricane Hill. Astronomer John Goar will point out constellations at the top. Bring sturdy shoes. Meet at the Hurricane Hill Trailhead, 1.5 miles past the Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center. Dress warmly, evenings in the mountains can be cool.
