This event continues the celebration of the cultural legacy of the plantation period with living history demonstrations.  Modern day rangers and volunteers demonstrate crafts, skills, and practices of the period while wearing historic clothing.  They are ready to answer questions on everything from tabby making, to spinning, to how enslaved people cooked, to the rigous of the task system.  

This educational event is meant to provide insight into the everyday challenges, skills, and difficult work endured by people living under enslavement.
