Description

Did you know that whales are extraordinary?

Join the park’s volunteer, Wendy Davis as she explores everything about whales.  They are the largest, loudest, most intelligent, and longest living animals on the planet. On this walking tour you will discover what makes whales extraordinary, how whales have helped humans, and how we can help the whales who are threatened with extinction.

New Bedford Whaling NHP is not simply about the history of whaling. We also look at whales and their environment. The park is a place to ask and discuss big questions facing our society.

Join Wendy on this tour and explore these questions and many more.
