Musket and Artillery Demonstration at Militia Encampment

In observation of Veterans Day, rangers and park volunteers will demonstrate the use of muskets and a 6-pounder cannon.

Learn about the advantages and drawbacks these weapons had, specifically in the context of their use during the Battle of Guilford Courthouse. 

Caution: weapons demonstrations can cause hearing loss. Guests are encouraged to cover their ears or bring ear plugs to wear.
