Mother’s Day Letter-Writing Activity

Celebrate Mother’s Day by writing a heartfelt letter inspired by the loving bond between Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his mother, Alberta Williams King. Reflecting on a letter 11-year-old Martin wrote to his mother in June 1940 while away from home, visitors are invited to craft their own letters of appreciation. All ages welcome; materials provided.
