“Patriot and Prophet”
Join the Bunker Hill Monument Association and the Friends of the Charlestown Library for their speaker series at the Charlestown Public Library!
Keith Stokes lectures on Judah Touro from his perspective as the descendant of the union between Touro and his black house woman. His well-developed presentation tells how a Jew from Newport and New Orleans joined with a Protestant Brahmin to assure that the monument would be built.
