Description
Starting with the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial exhibit at the DuSable Museum of African American History, Lee Bey's Southern Exposure photo series quickly became a highlight of Chicago's architecture scene. In 2019, Bey's work evolved into a book published by Northwestern University Press, celebrating the architectural heritage of Chicago's South Side. To mark the 5-year anniversary of the book, the Block House Gallery is hosting a free reception with special guest Lee Bey. The public is welcome to attend, with food and drinks available throughout the event.
