Description
New Orleans Jazz pianist Steve Pistorius and New Orleans and West Coast based Jazz drummer Benny Amón are excited to announce a series of four trio concerts at the French Quarter Visitor Center on behalf of New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park. Steve and Benny have worked together to produce many excellent concerts, shows, educational programs, recordings and tours over the last decade.
Joe Goldberg is a young clarinet and saxophone player who not only loves the music but has the rare ability to capture the spirit of early New Orleans jazz icons like Bechet and Dodds without imitating them. He has spent countless hours with veteran masters of early jazz like Orange Kellin, soaking up the treasure trove of knowledge and experience offered to him. Joe is presently based in Tallahassee, Florida and frequently returns to New Orleans to visit and perform.
