Wilderness Visitor Center: Take William Floyd Parkway (Route 46) to Smith Point County Park for access to the Wilderness Visitor Center. Parking is available in the parking lot just east of the Wilderness Visitor Center, a small hexagonal building to your right as you are headed south.

Description
Marine fisheries experts from the New York State DEC will provide information and instruction on saltwater fish identification, fishing regulations and surfcasting techniques. After an indoor session, head out to the beach and give surfcasting a try. Equipment will be provided or bring your own.
Marine license/registry is not required to participate.
For ages 12 and up.
