Description

End your day the perfect way, with outdoor music and performance events on the shores of Salt Pond, and indoor presentations on nature and history topics. Bench and lawn seating available for outdoor programs and picnicking is welcome. Indoor presentations are held in the auditorium and doors open at 6:30.

  • July 2 - Crab Grass Blue Grass Band Considered Cape Cod’s premier bluegrass band, CrabGrass brings its mix of old and new foot-stomping bluegrass to the stage.
  • July 9 - Jackson Gillman - Whales, Octopi & Sharks, Oh My! Jackson Gillman’s performances for families, children, and educational groups reach out and touch the audience, making them laugh, making them think, and leaving them delighted!
  • July 16 - Anna May Anna has a style that honors creative flexibility and personal musical freedom, as well as the importance of technique & cultural awareness.
  • July 23 - Neal Nichols Jr. “The Geography Gameshow” is a series of educational performances that feature the rendering of various world and regional maps from memory. Students are engaged in these programs that challenge comprehension skills and inspire learning. International traveler, artist, and creator of the shows, Neal Nichols, Jr. has hosted Geography Gameshow events in schools throughout the world.
  • July 30 - Cape Cod Chamber Music: Jazz at the Seashore: Dizzy and the Duke A popular summer favorite, this year’s program features Dan Block (Faculty, Juilliard Jazz Studies Program) and friends performing an evening of jazz standards by Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, and more.
  • August 6 - “Rescuing Our Oceans through Recycled Art” Directed by filmmaker Johnny Bergmann, “Rescuing Our Oceans Through Recycled Art” explores how local artists, scientists and members of the community have come together to create art from the detritus and bring awareness to what we as individuals can do to help solve the problem.
  • August 13 - Kim Moberg Award wining singer/ songwriter performs heartfelt vocals and compositions that tug at feelings of melancholy, heartbreak, healing and social consciousness. With guitarist Steve Gregory, owner and instructor at Score Music in Sandwich.
