Description
The International Coastal Cleanup is a partnership volunteer event with Ocean Conservancy, Volusia County and Keep Brevard Beautiful. This event allows for visitors to volunteer to help keep our oceans and seashore trash free. The seashore provides important habitat for many species who will benefit from clean-up efforts such as sea turtles and sea birds. Bring water, hand sanitizer, a mask, sun protection, and gloves. Trash bags are provided & volunteer shirts while supplies last. Arrive at the allocated time between 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
This event is in partnership with Keep Brevard Beautiful, 2021 International Coastal Cleanup - Keep Brevard Beautiful - Florida.
To promote our staff and visitors’ safety, masks are required in all NPS buildings and on all forms of enclosed public transportation, regardless of location or vaccination status. Additionally, masks must be worn in outdoors spaces where physical distancing cannot be maintained, such as narrow or busy trails and overlooks.
