50th Anniversary of Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site Celebration
Join us for the 50th anniversary of the Tuskegee Institute National Historic Site, the National Park Service, in collaboration with the City of Tuskegee, Blanchard House Institute, Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System, Macon County Board of Education, Macon County Commission, Tuskegee Area Chamber of Commerce, Alabama Peanut Producers Association, and Tuskegee University, will host a series of special events on October 25-26, 2024.
On October 26, for Community Day from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Explore interactive stations set up around The Oaks and Tuskegee University, offering hands-on activities that celebrate the inspiring legacy of the Institute. Don't miss the chance to tour The Oaks, the historic home of Booker T. Washington, and immerse yourself in history like never before.
