Description
Join Park Rangers at Golden Spike National Historical Park for a Star Party on October 5th, 2024. Connect with the past through the skies that tie us together. Team up with Rangers, Astronomers, and other park visitors to explore stars, galaxies, and planets after dark with the transcontinental railroad as a backdrop to the history of the stars.
8:00 pm-8:30 pm Jr. Rangers and their families can join park rangers for a Special Jr. Astronomy Ranger event.
8:30 pm-9:15 pm Explore the night sky with park rangers, through a guided constellation tour.
9:15 pm-11:30 pm Look through visual telescopes and explore the wonders of the galaxy.
