Description
Get outside on Kids to Parks Day!
Kids to Parks Day features 3 activities spread across different areas of the national preserve. Get a free activity book at any location, do all 3 activities, and earn a prize!
- Activity 1: Learn how to paddle a canoe or kayak! Try on a lifejacket and paddle a short distance on Village Creek with the help of a park ranger.
Location: Baby Galvez Boat Ramp in Silsbee - Activity 2: Make a map! Hike the Sundew Trail and make your own map of the trail.
Location: Sundew Trail in Warren - Activity 3: Do a scavenger hunt! Explore the visitor center and see if you can find all the animals hidden inside.
