September 27th is National Public Lands Day!
First Ladies National Historic Site is joining thousands of our neighbors across the country to celebrate public lands.
From 10:00 AM- 3:00 PM Visitors can step inside the Saxton House, home of First Lady Ida Saxton McKinley, for free open house tours and to learn more about the history of America’s first ladies
Outside in the park, guests can enjoy live music, listen to Ranger talks about First Ladies and Public Lands, and take part in family-friendly yard games like cornhole and giant Jenga. This free event is the perfect way to enjoy history, fun, and community all in one day.
