Four large parking lots surround a several hundred-square foot (approximately 200 m square) concrete Grand Canyon Visitor Center Plaza. The visitor center itself sits on the north side of the plaza. Adjacent to the visitor center building, to the west, are restrooms and a water filling station.

Join us in coming together as a community to celebrate Native American Heritage Month on Sunday, November 12 at 2 p.m. for a special performance by Joseph Tessay and the Cibecue Apache Crown Dancers from Cibecue, Arizona outside in the Grand Canyon Visitor Center Plaza.
