Free. SATURDAY 27th- “FEE-FREE DAY”-Entrance fees will be waived on September 27th, 2025, in celebration of the Public Lands Day. Everyone is encouraged to visit their national parks in person.

SATURDAY 27th- “CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF CANAVERAL: PUBLIC LANDS DAY AT THE SEASHORE” 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM- Join us as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Canaveral National Seashore during National Public Lands Day! Experience special programs, meet park staff, and discover the rich history, unique wildlife, and stunning shoreline that make this park one of Florida’s coastal treasures. Meet at Eddy Creek for all activities. All programs are free. Program locations are subject to change and/or cancellation. Here is the schedule of events:

· Intro to Fishing – 8–10 AM – Learn the basics of casting and coastal fishing from park staff. Perfect for beginners and families. Must be 8 or older. Fishing poles provided.

· Beach Cleanup – 8–12 PM – Join the community to protect Playalinda Beach! Supplies available at the cleanup table.

· Arts & Crafts – 8–12 PM – Hands-on fun for kids and families. Create seashore-inspired crafts to take home.

· Kayak & Lagoon Cleanup – 10–12 PM – Paddle the lagoon while helping to keep it pristine. Reservations required one week in advance (call 386-428-3384). Limited space and kayaks; bringing your own is encouraged. Must be 8 or older.

· Lagoon Hike, Shark Talk, Beach Walk & Seashore 101 Talk – From lagoons to sharks to shorelines, explore the seashore like never before! Join Park staff for a lagoon hike (8:30 AM), shark talk (9:30 AM), beach walk (10:30 AM), and Seashore 101 (11:30 AM). Each program lasts 30 minutes.
