Description
Let the rhythm of the waves pull you in and dance the night away with a Ranger in celebration of Hispanic Heritage month! Saturday, September 21st Biscayne National Park will be hosting our monthly Park After Dark with a Spanish twist. Join us on this special evening for Latin Night. Enjoy opportunities to learn about the diverse history of south Florida and Biscayne. You can even bring your abuelos (grandparents) and play a few hands of domino throughout the day!
Schedule:
12 PM Join park staff on a Ranger Walk en Español! Meet at the visitor center.
2-4 PM learn about fishing and how living by the sea can be both challenging and rewarding at our free Fishing Clinic on the Convoy Point bridge.
5:30 PM participate in a Ranger-led program about culture in Biscayne and learn basic steps for common styles of social dance in south Florida. By the manatee bench downstairs of the visitor center.
6:30-7:30 PM end your night roasting a Miami-style s'more at our firepit.
Enjoy some extra time to walk the jetty as we will be closing later (8 PM) than our regular time (5:30 PM).
