This National Park Week, we’re turning up the volume on inspiration at Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park with a celebration that brings together music, history, and community!
The 2025 theme, “National Park Playlist,” sets the stage for our weeklong 🎵 Music Trivia Challenge, spotlighting songs that moved the movement and some of Dr. King’s favorite tunes. Test your music knowledge, learn the backstory of iconic songs, and win fun prizes — online and in person!
But that's not all — each day brings something new:
🎖️ Saturday, April 19 – Jr. Ranger Day
Kick off the week with our youngest visitors during Jr. Ranger Day! Earn badges, meet park rangers, and check out our special online spotlight celebrating the 200th badge earned right here at MALU!
🖌️ Tuesday, April 22 – Earth Day Arts & Crafts
Celebrate the beauty of our planet with creative Earth Day art activities. Make nature-inspired crafts, and explore the Rose Garden.
🙌 Saturday, April 26 – Volunteer Drive & Dance Party
Join us as we shine a light on service during our Volunteer Drive! Learn how you can get involved, and meet current volunteers.
