Description
Terrifying flying mammals or adorable fuzzy neighbors? It is bat season! Perhaps you have noticed at dusk these fuzzy creatures flying around. Within our very diverse sky islands region bats are an important member of the society on both sides of the border.
Stop by to learn about current bat studies in the parks, current issues, and fun facts about our insect and nectar eating friends! The program will last for two around dusk with family friendly activities as well as interactions for all ages! If you are a bat lover or would just like to learn more about these intriguing creatures join us for a fun evening!
The event takes place outside of the Coronado National Memorial Visitor Center. Parking is on site and the area is developed with hard surfaces, nonetheless good footwear is always a great option. Bathrooms and water are on site. Feel free to bring a headlamp as the program continues on past dusk. Come prepared to learn and have fun!
