Reach for the Stars: African Americans in Space invites families to explore African American contributions to space science at the Rock Creek Park Nature Center and Planetarium. Visitors will learn about trailblazing astronauts, scientists, and innovators through colorful pop-up panels, hands-on activities, and connections to science and exploration during Black History Month.
