History talk: The Wedding of Ulysses and Julia Grant

Ulysses S. Grant married Julia Dent on August 22, 1848 in a home just south of what is Gateway Arch National Park. The home was owned by Julia's parents, Frederick F. Dent and Ellen Wrenshall Dent. David Newmann, Interpretation Program Manager at Ste. Genevieve National Histircal Park will highlight the events of the historic wedding.
