Join park rangers in the Lincoln Home neighborhood for Reading with a Park Ranger. Visitors can listen to a park ranger read a picture book and then participate in a related activity or craft connected to the book's themes.
On June 6, the Reading with a Park Ranger theme is the environment as we celebrate National Get Outdoors Day (June 10).
This program will take place at the Walters Lot, at the corner of 8th Street and Capitol Avenue. If you aren't sure where this lot is located, check in at the Lincoln Home Visitor Center at 426 S. 7th Street for directions or call 217-492-4241.
