Spring History Hike

Spring Forward at Camp Nelson National Monument! Usher in the new season by joining the National Park Service (NPS) on the Spring History Hike! NPS rangers and staff NPS staff will lead visitors on a guided hike to explore and examine Camp Nelson in early 1865 as the Civil War enters its final months.

The hike will be conducted on paved and grass paths and will involve moderate inclines. Participants should wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water.
