Sandy Hook Total Solar Eclipse Watch Party

Join NPS park rangers, The Sandy Hook Foundation, and S.T.A.R. Astronmy to view the total solar eclipse. A solar eclipse happense when the moon completely blocks out the sun, reveleaing the sun's outer atmosphere called the corona. Although Sandy Hook is not in the path of totality, we do expect to experience a partial eclipse. The rangers will have eclipse safety glasses and Junior Ranger Eclipse Explorer books and badges available for visitors. This is a free program, and no reservations are required.
