Description
Join park rangers from Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument for the first dark sky program of the year at Abó! To kick off the evening from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm, enjoy a guided mission ruins program. Learn about the blending of cultures and the way they shaped central New Mexico for generations. Then, enjoy pristine dark sky viewing through telescopes, check out the dark sky photography station, and gaze in wonderment at the sea of black sky with small islands of stars dotting the vast openness. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and your spirit of discovery to spend the evening with us!
