Cuyahoga Valley Farmers Market is excited to announce the return of the Annual Tomato Tasting Festival with a few exciting additions!
With over 35 varieties to sample, the tomato tasting festival is free to the public, featuring live music, and kid friendly activities to enjoy while shopping for your perfect tomato-themed product. A wide selection of tomato treats will be available; bloody mary popsicles (non-alcoholic), green tomato jelly, tomato tarts, and many more!
This year’s tomato testing will also include FIVE local award-winning chefs as the judges of honor.
- Chef Vinnie Cimino of Cleveland’s celebrated Cordelia restaurant.
- Chef and owner Doug Katz of Zhug, Amba, Provenance and Kiln.
- Local chef and entrepreneur Ben Bebenroth, president and founder of Spice Hospitality Group.
- Jeremy Umansky chef and co-owner of Larder Delicatessen & Bakery, Mycologist, co-author Koji Alchemy.
- Chef and owner Jenny Doran of The Judith and Room Service.
The public is invited to taste and judge the tomatoes alongside some of the best chefs of Northeast Ohio.
