Description

This guided hike begins at the Signal Hill Picnic Area and covers 3.5 miles over 3 hours, primarily on flat terrain with some gentle hills. As you walk, you’ll learn about the diversity of plant and animal life in the Sonoran Desert. The hike leads to the Valley View Overlook, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sun setting behind the mountains.The hike back will be in the dark so headlamps are required. Reservations are required, and space is limited to 18 participants. To secure your spot, please call 520-733-5158 or visit the Red Hills Visitor Center. It's first come, first served, so we encourage you to reserve your place soon!
