Description
Each Saturday evening in May from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, various groups will play period music on the front lawn of the Visitor Center. Free event, bring your lawn chair or blanket to sit, listen and enjoy the period music.
Join us May 6th to listen to Blue Train. The band’s name, Blue Train, was suggested by the group’s banjo player, Daryl Tunink. Blue stands for emotion and sometimes sadness often depicted in bluegrass music, and Train stands for the power and drive that exists within this great genre of American music. Between them, the members of Blue Train have many musical influences and experiences.
As you listen to Blue Train, feel the emotion of the stories shared through the lyrics of the songs. Feel energized by the amazing talent these musicians have for blending their instruments and musical influences for a powerful performance!
If severe weather is pending check Facebook and the park website for cancellations. If cancelled, there will not be a make up date.
