Celebrate Junior Ranger Day of National Park Week!

Have you ever been so involved in hiking that you forgot to pay attention to your surroundings? Do you ever go hiking and later wonder what you missed?  This Junior Ranger Day hiking activity, “Making Sense of Nature”, will help kids slow down and use their senses and nature-journals to explore the extraordinary things all around them.

The activity will begin in front of the Hot Springs Mountain Tower entrance at 2:00 pm on April 20th and will end at the Hot Springs Mountain Trail pavilion about 3:30 pm. Families may hike back to the Mountain Tower with the ranger or continue on the trail on their own.

*A parent must accompany all children. Closed-toe shoes and water are recommended for the hike.
