Meet a ranger at the Midtown Trailer Camp Wayside adjacent to the Oak Ridge Senior Center for a 30-minute exploration of the scientific breakthroughs of the Manhattan Project and the dawn of the nuclear age. Splitting the Atom is offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays, when not conflicting with other MAPR programs. For August, dates are Thursday August 7, and Wednesdays August 13, 20, and 27.
