Description

Confederate General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson died in the farm office on Fairfield Plantation on May 10, 1863. Today this small structure is the only building left of what was a much larger slave plantation complex before the Civil War and a bustling supply hub during the war. This complicated place has many stories to tell. 

On May 7 &10, 2023, the Jackson Death Site will be open 9 am-5pm. Drop by and learn more!
