You are invited to enjoy special programs on the third Thursdays of January-March. Visit with park rangers and volunteers to enjoy some coffee, and learn about the featured topics.
Coffee with Carver: George Washington Carver's Agriculture Bulletin, Some Choice Wild Vegetables
Do you want to learn more about wild edibles and get a free plant? Come to our Coffee with Carver, “George Washington Carver’s Agriculture Bulletin: Some Choice Wild Vegetables” on Thursday, March 19 at 10:00 a.m. The program will begin with a brief talk about Carver’s agriculture bulletins & pamphlets followed by a discussion about wild edibles. Park volunteer Linda will share her in-depth knowledge about wild edibles as well as identification. She will also share recipes!
Join the program and grab a cup of coffee or hot tea (provided by the park). Everyone in attendance will a free plant to begin spring gardens.
