Description

Join the Manhattan Project National Historical Park, Bike Tri-Cities, the REACH Museum, and the Wheelhouse Bike Shop for a family friendly interpretive bike ride along the Columbia River from Columbia Point Marina Park to the REACH Museum.

Participants will join National Park Service Rangers and REACH Museum staff on an 8-mile round trip ride from Columbia Point Marina Park along the Sacajawea Heritage Trail. There will be two stops along the route for presentations on the way to the REACH Museum. At the REACH Museum, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy hands-on activities, walk the Energy Northwest Animal Trail, and explore indoor museum exhibits.

This event is FREE for registered participants. Bike Tri-Cities paid for museum admission for registrants. Pre-Registration is REQUIRED to participate in this event. Event registration opens on March 25 and closes on April 8th at 6 pm. "Walk up" participation is not allowed.

The bike ride will arrive at the REACH Museum by 10:00 am. Participants will have one hour at the REACH Museum. At 11:00 am, participants will have the option to ride back to the start of the route with the rangers or return to Columbia Point Marina Park on their own at any time. Transportation back to the starting point will not be provided.

At check-in, participants will be given tickets to the REACH Museum good for the entire day.
