Join National Park Service Naturalist Jerry Hightower and the volunteer staff for an opportunity to explore nature journaling!
Nature journaling is a powerful way to deepen your connection with the outdoors, sharpen your observation skills, and create a lasting record of your adventures. Through poetry, sketches, and written reflections, journaling enhances your experience in nature. Join us for hands-on exercises in the meadow and forest, where you'll practice observing and recording your surroundings in new ways. These sessions, held on the upper deck or in the classroom of the education center, will help you expand your journaling skills while having fun in nature.
