Description
Much of the work to develop Lookout Mountain, including the trails and roads, was carried out by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, who maintained several camps around the mountain. CCC Members even served as some of the first "tour guides" for the new national military park.
Commemorate National Public Lands Day with this special living history program to learn about the role of the CCC in preserving the Lookout Mountain Battlefield.
