Nationwide Reading of the Declaration of Independence

On the evening of July 8 at 6pm, Americans across the globe will join for a simultaneous reading of the Declaration of Independence. From Alaska to Antarctica, we will come together as one to mark the 250th anniversary of the very first public reading. Join us at 5:45pm right behind Independence Hall where that very first reading happened and be a part of this generational event.
