4th of July at the Monument

Join us on Independence Day!  From 9-11am, park rangers and a climbing community representative will be at Independence Monument View with activities for kids and adults. Discover more about the legacy of John Otto and the significance of his historic climb, general climbing safety, monument history, peregrine falcons, and the importance of recreation and preservation. The American flag will be displayed throughout the event.

Parking at the overlook is limited.  Please carpool if you can.  The rangers will be there from 9am- 11am, so stop by anytime during that time.
