Description

It's that time of year again - the sheep are ready for shearing! Join us to see how we get wool off the sheep and learn what people in the 1800s could do with it.

Shearing begins at 11:30 am and continues every 20 minutes. The last sheep will be shorn around 3:30 pm.

Check out fiber arts, blacksmithing, and bake oven demonstrations throughout the day. Be sure to join in on storytime with a ranger at 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. Complete the Junior Ranger book to earn a special Sheep Shearing Day sticker.

This event is free and family-friendly.

Event may be modified or cancelled in the case of inclement weather.
