Description
Volunteer Stewardship Project | Saturday, June 15 | 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Join Leave No Trace, Park Rangers, and partners for a fun volunteer day and stewardship project to rehabilitate backcountry campsites along Rose River Loop. Volunteers will use their hands and light tools to move branches, leaves, and other natural materials to return campsites to a natural condition and discourage their use. These efforts will encourage backcountry campers to practice Leave No Trave principles, protect wilderness character, and adhere to the Park's backcountry regulations.
