Celebrate World Camel Day with us!

Did you know camels are the second most common fossil species discovered at Waco Mammoth? Camels lived in North America right alongside our Columbian Mammoths during the Ice Age!

Celebrate with us from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Special Activities include:  

  • Meet live camels
  • Special camel programs
  • Camel story time
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Junior Ranger Program
  • New Camel exhibit debut on Dig Site tours (fee applies)

Fees apply for dig site tours and are $5.00 or less per person. Other camel-related activities will be free.
