Have you ever stopped to think about what wilderness is? What it means to you? What it means to others? Join Ranger J. Gablaski on a short walk and learn about the resources in this beautiful landscape. We'll discuss and think about this idea of "wilderness."

Meet at Dugout Wells, approximately 8 miles east of Panther Junction for an easy, 1/2-mile walk on a dirt and gravel path. Wear sturdy shoes and a hat. Bring water.

Location

Dugout Wells is located 8 miles east of Panther Junction, on the road to the Rio Grande Village. Access to the parking area is down a short, dirt and gravel road.
