Description
For the second year in a row, the National Park Service and the Mary McLeod Bethune Council House National Historic Site are offering a bus tour of "Mrs. Bethune's Washington," in celebration of the 144th Anniversary of the Birth of Mary McLeod Bethune. Participants will learn more about Mrs. Bethune by visiting some of the same places she would have frequented during her time as a Washington resident, while also learning how the special places that make up this local history are preserved and memorialized.
