Did you know the folded U.S flag resembles a cocked hat, reminding us of the first soldiers who served under General George Washington?
Want to learn how to fold the American flag? Help a veteran take down the American flag at Agate Fossil Beds National Monument. Then, fold it for proper storage so it's prepared for the next day.
Meet at Agate Fossil Bed's flagpole in front of the Visitor Center around 4:45pm each Monday afternoon.
